We are part of the international, interdenominational mission organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Our main goal is to know God and to make Him known, and this mandate is carried out through evangelism, mercy ministries and training.
In Amsterdam we are part of YWAM’s University of the Nations and we are overseeing all of the Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) that are run in Amsterdam. The DTS is a missions training program that is designed to help young people find their destiny and to equip them to be a light and salt to the world, based on a personal intimate walk with Jesus.
As a family we are involved in coordinating DTS’s, leading DTS’s as well as leading outreach teams on their missions trips to different nations. With our DTS’s in Amsterdam it is our personal vision that we would see outreach teams returning to the same locations in order to build long term relationships and eventually pioneer new ministries.
Besides our work with DTS we get invited to speak in churches or youth groups or to teach in DTS’s elsewhere. We also are involved in worship leading at different events.
